The five-a-side 3G pitches are funded by the Premier League

Are you a youth sports team looking for somewhere to train during the winter months? If so, Wigan Youth Zone, a fantastic £6m facility in the centre of Wigan, still has places available seven days a week on their floodlit five-a-side 3G pitches.

The pitches, which are funded by the Premier League, are currently used by more than 20 different sports teams from across the borough, which include football and rugby clubs, and offers young people the opportunity to take part in physical activity.

Pitches are available to youth sports teams from 4pm till late between Monday and Friday, and from 10am till 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Membership costs just £5 for the year and then 50p to come in each time after that.

Wigan Youth Zone aims to provide the best possible experiences and outcomes for young people in a fun, support, safe, inclusive and positive environment. They ensure that the facility attracts and retains young people from across the borough in order to provide them with a brighter future.
