WIGAN ATHLETIC'S SEPTEMBER SCHEDULE

7 September 2016

A look at how September shapes up for Latics.

  • Latics set for five Sky Bet Championship fixtures in September.
  • Month starts with back-to-back away games against Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City.
  • Latics visit Preston North End for live TV game in between home clashes with Fulham and Wolves.

With the international fixtures now over and teams across the Sky Bet Championship and Premier League preparing for their return to league action, we take a look at the first team schedule for September, along with information on how you can support Gary Caldwell and his players at the DW Stadium and on the road.

Latics kick off the second month of the season with back-to-back away trips, first visiting Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 10 September, before the long road to Norwich City on Tuesday 13.

The clash with the Canaries can also be watched live from the DW Stadium, as we host our first beamback of the season in the DW Sports Lounge in the South Stand.

Action returns to the DW Stadium just four days later for the visit of Fulham, before Latics descend on Deepdale Stadium to take on Preston North End in front of a live Sky Sports television audience under the lights on Friday 23.

The month ends with another night match when Latics welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the DW Stadium on Tuesday 27.
