Jack Byrne on Nick Powell
“When you have a footballer like Nick in your team who can make that difference it’s brilliant. He’s won six points for us in the last two games, and every team needs players like him.
“Technically he’s up there with the best I’ve played with. He’s got a great physical stature and he can be anything he wants to be. Hopefully he gets his head right and can push on again.
Jack Byrne on his own performance against Barnsley
“I thought I did alright but I’ve still got loads left in my locker. I’ve been working really hard to try and find some of the fitness I’ve lost, and I feel it’s at a level now where I can let my talent show. I’m showing improvements.
Jack Byrne on belief in the dressing room
“There’s still a lot more cup finals to come and we want to stay in this league. We’re all fighting together and you could see what it meant to the fans. Everyone was buzzing when we got into the dressing room, so we’re all delighted.

“Hopefully I won’t be on the bench so much because everybody wants to play as much as they can. I know I’m still only 20 but I want to push on and become the best player I can become.
Jack Byrne on Friday’s games
“We could do with a couple of favours now but we’ve done all we can do. We can only look after ourselves and hope the other teams slip up around us. If we can win most of our games we’ll be in with a shout.
