The penultimate edition of Wigan Athletic’s 2016-17 award-winning official matchday programme will be on sale on Saturday for supporters attending our crucial match with Cardiff City in the Sky Bet Championship at the DW Stadium.

Jack Byrne is the feature interview for the programme and we find out more about the Irish midfielder’s career so far as he says his three-and-a-half-year contract with Latics has given him the platform to become a big player for the club.

Academy player Callum Lang talks to us about his past fortnight, from signing a professional contract to winning the Central League Cup and being part of the first team squad on matchdays.

There’s an in-depth look at our visitors Cardiff City, whilst we also assess our record against their manager, Neil Warnock, in the 16 previous matches we have come up against him.

‘Don’t I Know You?’ looks at where the paths of players from each side have played together before, whilst ‘Got It Covered’ reflects on previous programme covers from matches between Latics and the Bluebirds.

Chief Executive Jonathan Jackson provides his latest ‘Diary from the Boardroom’ and Paul Rowley and Jeff Rourke have us covered on the historical side of things with ‘Rewind’ and ‘On This Day’.

There’s fun for the kids in the Team Latics section and our in-depth ‘Latics Classics’ takes us back to 2014 and the FA Cup Fifth Round win over Cardiff in the Welsh capital.

All of this and plenty more is available for £3 from sellers outside the DW Stadium or you can order your copy online here.
