Wigan Athletic will continue their Emirates FA Cup campaign on the road when they travel to AFC Bournemouth of the Premier League on Saturday 6th January 2018 for a 3.00pm kick off.

Latics' place in the third round was confirmed on Tuesday evening following a dramatic late victory in a second round replay against National League side AFC Fylde at the DW Stadium.

Will Grigg's double from the bench pulled Paul Cook's side from behind against the Coasters, with the Northern Ireland international adding to Ivan Toney's first half opener to secure a 3-2 win.

Ticket details for Latics' trip to the Vitality Stadium in January will be confirmed in due course on the official website and across the club's social media channels.

Latics will return to the venue of their first victory in the historic 2012-13 FA Cup winning season, where Mauro Boselli rocketed Roberto Martinez's team into the fourth round, his single goal securing a 1-0 win against the Cherries.

NOTICE: As a result of our progress in the Emirates FA Cup, our scheduled Sky Bet League One fixture away at Bristol Rovers on Saturday 6th January will be rearranged.  Details of the rearranged fixture will be confirmed in due course.
