Wigan Athletic Supporter Liaison Officers Jason Taylor and Ian Wadsworth have been named the 2017 Football Supporters’ Federation (FSF) 2017 Supporter Liaison Officers of the Year.
The duo have been a source of pride for Latics in recent years with regular recognition for their work with the club’s supporters.
Speaking about Ian and Jason winning the award, Wigan Athletic’s Head of Business Development and Customer Experience Jonty Castle said:
“We are very proud of the work both Jason and Ian continue to do to assist us in our aim to continually improve our matchday experience here at Wigan Athletic.
“Through initiatives like the Fan Advisory Board (FAB), our Female Fans Focus Group and Fans Forums, we aim to be as fluent in our communication with supporters as possible and with Ian and Jason’s help we will endeavour to continue providing the best possible experience for our supporters on matchday.
“On behalf of the club, I would like to congratulate both Ian and Jason on their award.”
