Northern Ireland striker rejoins SPL side for the season.

  • Billy Mckay moves to Inverness Caledonian Thistle on loan.
  • Billy Mckay recalled from Oldham Athletic before completing Scottish move
  • Billy Mckay has made 9 appearances for Wigan Athletic, 8 as substitute.
The club can confirm that striker Billy Mckay has joined Inverness Caledonian Thistle until the end of the season after being recalled from his loan to Oldham Athletic. The move is subject to international clearance.

The 28 year old Northern Ireland international has played 33 times for Oldham in all competitions this season, scoring four goals, and will now spend the rest of the season back at the club from which Latics originally signed him in January 2015. 

His last appearance for Latics was in August 2015. He spent the rest of last season on loan at Dundee United , where he scored 13 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions. Mckay scored 64 goals in 141 games in his first spell at Inverness.
