Wigan Athletic development squad midfielder Danny O’Brien has signed for Chester FC on loan until the end of the 2016-17 season.
O’Brien, 20, moves to the National League side for the second time after spending a couple of months at the Deva Stadium last season.
The former England U17 international, who also had a brief loan spell with Wrexham in the 2015-16 campaign, made his Latics bow in our EFL Cup First Round defeat to Oldham Athletic in August and is available to make his ‘second debut’ for Chester this weekend when they travel to Dagenham & Redbridge.
