Community Trust are pleased to add two new venues to their list of summer soccer schools

  • Sessions will take place at Birchwood High School and Haydock High School
  • Open to boys and girls aged between 6-14 years old
  • Community Trust will be delivering soccer schools at eight locations during the summer holidays

Boys and girls between the ages of 6-14 will have the opportunity to practice, develop and improve their skills and techniques with qualified coaches, as the Community Trust continues to grow its soccer school offering to children from across the North West.

Costing just £8 per day, the Community Trust will be delivering soccer schools and dance camps at various locations during the summer holidays, with the sessions in Haydock taking place at Haydock High School, Clipsley Lane, St Helens, WA11 0JG, while the sessions in Warrington are to be held at Birchwood High School, Brock Road, Birchwood, WA3 7PT.

The soccer schools at Haydock High School take place on Monday 7th August to Friday 11th August and Tuesday 29th August to Friday 1st September, with sessions at Birchwood High School commencing on Monday 24th July to Friday 28th July and Monday 14th August to Friday 18th August.

Wes Partington, Sports and Cohesion Manager at Wigan Athletic Community Trust, said: “We’re pleased to be able to offer the young people of Haydock and Warrington the chance to play football, socialise and meet new friends at our soccer schools this summer.

He added: “Hundreds of children from across the North West attend our soccer schools, and we’re really proud to be able to deliver sessions at eight different locations this summer.”
