Wigan Athletic are delighted to confirm that Jordan Flores has agreed terms on a new two-year deal at the club.
The Wigan-born 21-year-old, who came through the Latics academy and has played six times for the club, spent the second half of last season on loan at Blackpool, where he played 21 matches and helped the Seasiders to promotion from League Two.
He will now join the rest of the squad when they meet for pre-season training this week and manager Paul Cook said: “Jordan’s a good young player with a fine left foot. He has come through the club’s youth system and it’s important that we continue producing our own players. He gained great experience last season and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
Flores made his league debut for the club on the final day of the 2014-15 season, scoring his first goal against Fleetwood Town in October 2015.
