Wigan Athletic’s development squad goalkeeper Owen Evans has signed for National League side North Ferriby United on a month-long youth loan.
Evans, who has been an unused substitute for Latics on a number of occasions this season after returning from a loan spell with Welsh Premier League side Rhyl, could go into the Humberside club’s starting XI for their trip to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday, where he could come up against teammate Kaiyne Woolery.
Sam Cosgrove is also on loan with North Ferriby, who currently sit ten points from safety with six games remaining in the National League season.
