It was a weekend to remember for young Latics forward Kaiyne Woolery as he hit a career high by scoring twice at Wembley to lead Forest Green Rovers to the EFL for the time in their history.

“It’s an unbelievable feeling; to win first and foremost but to score two goals as well, words can’t describe it.
“It’s my best moment in football, especially to get promoted to the EFL as a club from such a small village; it’s not just me, it’s great for the staff, the fans and the whole club.
“I never thought I would score at Wembley but today I got my chance and I was pleased to take the goals.”
Elsewhere, Jordan Flores was an 80th minute substitute as Mark Cullen’s hat-trick helped Blackpool to beat Luton Town 3-2 at Bloomfield Road in the first leg of their Sky Bet League Two play-off semi-final.
Goals from Dan Potts and Isaac Vassell had given Nathan Jones’ Hatters a 2-1 lead after Cullen’s opener but Gary Bowyer’s Tangerines turned the game around in the second-half and now take a one-goal advantage to Kenilworth Road on Thursday evening.
