Football legend and current Latics staff member Peter Reid will be hosting an evening of fun-filled entertainment, fine-dining and classic football stories from a career that is largely unrivalled in terms of his success as both a player and manager.
A two-time First Division winner with Everton, who also won the FA Cup, European Cup Winners’ Cup and Charity Shield with the Toffees, Reid was also the PFA Players’ Player of the Year winner in 1985.
Capped 13 times by England, Reid played at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico – infamously being remembered as one of the players left behind by the great Diego Maradona in the quarter-final as the Argentinian scored one of the most famous goals in the game’s history.
He later managed Sunderland to promotion to the Premier League twice, whilst also taking charge of Manchester City and Leeds United.
A true great of the game, your chance to ask Reid questions about his career is not to be missed!
Tickets are available at £45 for Latics season card holders and shareholders, with non-season card holder tickets priced at £50.
