ARMED FORCES FAMILY OPEN DAY TO BE HELD AT WIGAN YOUTH ZONE

Event to be hosted in association with Wigan Athletic Community Trust, Wigan Council and the Armed Forces Covenant.

  • Event to take place from 11am-3pm on Saturday 21st April 2018.
  • British Legion, Friendly Loyals and Wigan Family History Society to attend.
  • Latics will be celebrating the work of the Armed Forces this weekend.

A local celebration to show appreciation of the work of the Armed Forces community will take place at Wigan Youth Zone on Saturday 21st April 2018.

The event, held in association with Wigan Athletic Community Trust, Wigan Council and the Armed Forces Covenant, will have information stands from local organisations including the British Legion, Friendly Loyals and Wigan and Local Family History Society.

Activities will include a bouncy castle, fairground rides and football inflatables, with entertainment from brass bands and members of Wigan Youth Zone.  

Latics will also be celebrating the work of the Armed Forces community at their home game against Rotherham United this Saturday afternoon, with the fixture being designated to Football 4 Forces and the club offering two free tickets to current and former armed forces service people.

To claim the tickets email h.bulpitt@wiganathletic.com by stating your name, address, phone number, email address and service number. You will then be able to collect your tickets from the East Stand Ticket Office on match day. All requests must be made by 1pm on Friday April 13th 2018.
