Latics fans can make a difference to the lives of people facing homeless, poverty or debt crisis in Wigan at the club’s final home game of the season on Saturday afternoon.
The Brick have been the club’s official charity of the season throughout the 2017/18 campaign, with supporters’ kindly donating food and toiletries to their collection points at the DW Stadium on match days, while also raising vital funds to ensure nobody in the Wigan Borough gets left behind.
Representatives from The Brick will be at this weekend’s fixture, where two collection points will be situated in front of the West Stand and the East Stand near the players’ car park for fans to donate items such as tinned meat and fish, cereal, beans, soup, vegetables, packet meals and toiletries.
They help over 400 people each month to rebuild their lives, offering them food, shelter and training, and held a SleepOut at the DW Stadium at the start of April to raise awareness of their work.
Club Chief Executive Jonathan Jackson will present The Brick with a cheque at half-time for the money raised by supporters throughout the season.
