LOAN REPORT: BURGESS AND PERRIN CONTINUE INVOLVEMENT AT BARROW AND STOCKPORT TOWN

Two of Latics three young players out on loan were involved in weekend action, with Jordan Flores still adapting in Sweden following his move to Allsvenskan title chasers Ostersunds FK.

Luke Burgess was a second half substitute in Barrow AFC's 2-2 draw at Leyton Orient, introduced in place of Josh Kay in a game which saw Raul Correia net an 85th minute equaliser. Barrow sit eighth in the National League after three games, with midfielder Burgess an unused sub for Tuesday's 2-0 defeat to FC Halifax.

Goalkeeper Jordan Perrin was moments away from his first clean sheet on Saturday, only for Stone Dominoes to grab a late equaliser against Stockport Town for a 1-1 draw.

Flores' Ostersunds FK moved up the Allsvenskan league table with a 2-0 home win against Kalmar FF. They now sit third in the division, six points behind leaders AIK.
