Naturally a tough decision for one of our club captains, Dan Burn officially joined Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion on transfer deadline day on Thursday 9 August, but 'Superman' as he is affectionately nicknamed by Latics supporters, said he was delighted to be able to come back to the club on loan until January, allowing him the opportunity to say his goodbyes to fans, team mates and staff in person.
The 26-year-old is currently recovering from an injury picked up against Rangers FC in pre-season, but he took time out of his rehabilitation schedule at the Wigan Athletic Training Centre to lift the lid on his recent transfer and reflect on his time at the club.
