CHESTERFIELD 2 SWINDON TOWN 1 - ANDY KELLETT
The battle to remain in the EFL is very much alive for Chesterfield after Saturday's 2-1 victory over Swindon Town, with Andy Kellett the star of the show for Jack Lester's side, laying on Chris O'Grady for the opening goal, before scoring one of his own.
Kellett's strike proved to be the match-winner, after Ollie Banks added a late consolation for the visitors, with the Robins ending the game with 10 men after Rollin Menayese's dismissal.
Chesterfield remain 23rd in Sky Bet League Two, five points from safety behind Port Vale.
SUTTON UNITED 4 GUISELEY 0 - TERELL THOMAS
Defender Terell Thomas was also on target at the weekend, opening the scoring in Sutton United's 4-0 thrashing of Guiseley to keep the pressure on National League leaders Macclesfield Town.
Thomas' goal was followed by Byron Harrison and Craig Eastmond, before Luke Caddington's own goal rounded off Sutton's thumping win.
The Yellows are second in the National League on 63 points, five behind the Silkmen at the top.
ELSEWHERE IN THE EFL AND NATIONAL LEAGUE
Callum Lang was an unused substitute as Morecambe eased their relegation fears with a 4-2 victory away at Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday afternoon, with star of the show Kevin Ellison on target twice just a day after his 39th birthday.
Adam McGurk and Gregg Wylde also hit the target for the Shrimps, who sit 21st in League Two, five points clear of Chesterfield in the danger zone.
Luke Burke was also an unused substitute on Saturday, with AFC Fylde strengthening their play-off push by seeing off Dover Athletic 3-1 at Mill Farm. Danny Rowe, Serhat Tasdemir and James Hardy hit the target for Dave Challinor's seventh placed National League side. Fellow defender Sam Stubbs was not involved in the match day squad.
In League One, midfielder Josh Laurent was absent from Bury's squad as they won 2-1 against Gillingham at Gigg Lane. Neil Danns and Harry Bunn hit the target to push the game beyond the Gills, moving the Shakers into 23rd place in the table, eight points from safety behind Fleetwood Town.
