Latics fans showed incredible support for the club’s official charity of the season at Monday night’s memorable Emirates FA Cup victory over Manchester City at the DW Stadium.
Representatives from The Brick raised £1,317 through bucket collections, while also spreading the message about their DW Stadium Sleepout which is to be held on Friday 6th April 2018.
The charity are hoping for 200 people to fill the south stand concourse on the night of the Sleepout to raise vital funds and to help change the lives of the people that it is a reality for.
A Wigan based charity, The Brick are a Wigan help over 400 people each month who are homeless, living in poverty or facing debt crisis to rebuild their lives.
Thousands of pounds have been raised since the launch of the year-long partnership at the start of the 2017/18 season, with the money being used for food, shelter and training.
In addition, supporters are encouraged to bring with them food and toiletries to home games to donate to The Brick’s collection point in the Family Zone underneath the East Stand.
