Community Trust offer exciting educational opportunities to young people.

  • Event to be held before the club's game against Blackpool on Tuesday 13th February 2018.
  • Those in attendance will receive a free ticket to the match that evening.
  • Studying with the Community Trust has a number of benefits.

Wigan Athletic Community Trust will be hosting an Education Open Evening at the DW Stadium before the club's first team game against Blackpool on Tuesday 13th February 2018.

The event takes place between 6pm-7.30pm in the Family Zone in the East Stand, and those in attendance will receive a free match ticket to the game that evening.

The Trust offer a number of educational opportunities to young people, including volunteering, 12 week traineeships, Level 2 and Level 3 Study Programmes, Level 3 PE and School Sport coaching apprenticeships and a Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching.

Benefits of studying with the Trust include FA Level 1 and 2 Coaching Badges, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates, Wigan Athletic kit and valuable experience working in a variety of different settings.
