On loan midfielder Lee Evans has been recalled by parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers, ahead of a permanent switch to Sheffield United.
Evans made 23 appearances for Latics during his loan spell, scoring three goals.
On losing Evans this week, Latics boss Paul Cook said: "We are naturally disappointed to lose Lee, but equally we understand that when a loan player performs as well as he did during his spell here, you are always susceptible to losing the player.
"Lee has been brilliant for us, we thank him for his efforts throughout his time here and wish him well in the future."
