Sutton United took time out of their National League promotion chase on Saturday, turning their attention to silverware in the FA Trophy.
Latics defender Terell Thomas and goalkeeper Owen Evans played their part in a comfortable 3-0 victory at home to Hendon, working well to keep the visitors out as they both featured for 90 minutes.
The pair helped Sutton to a place in the third round draw, which will take place on Monday at 1.00pm.
LUKE BURKE AND SAM STUBBS
Back in the National League, AFC Fylde closed the gap to the play-off places with a 2-1 victory over Guiseley at Mill Farm. The Coasters are now just three points behind seventh place Dover Athletic, with a game in hand over over the six teams directly above them.
Centre back Sam Stubbs was handed his first start for Dave Challinor's men and completed the full 90 minutes, whilst Luke Burke made his 15th start for the Coasters and 17th appearance in total, completing 68 minutes.

Fresh of his nomination for Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month, Callum Lang featured for 45 minutes in Morecambe's 1-1 draw against Stevange at the Globe Arena.
The point in Lang's 15th league appearance for the Shrimps has them 19th in the table, six points clear of Forest Green Rovers in 23rd.

Defender Donervon Daniels featured for the full 90 minutes as Rochdale fell to a 2-1 defeat away at 14th place Gillingham in Sky Bet League One.
Dale sit 23rd in the table on 22 points, five ahead of bottom side Bury, but eight points away from safety.
Bury slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to play-off chasers Charlton Athletic, with Josh Laurent involved for the full 90 minutes.
The Shakers are bottom of League One on 17 points, 12 away from safety.
Chesterfield picked up a shock 2-0 victory over League Two leaders Luton Town, lifting them out of the relegation places into 22nd.
Andy Kellett was an unused substitute for the Spireites. The 24-year-old has made 26 appearances in all competitions this season.
