Earlier this week all at Wigan Athletic were saddened to hear the news of the passing of former player Juan Carlos Garcia after he lost his brave battle with leukaemia, aged just 29. He was surrounded by family and close friends in his native Honduras.
On Saturday we will hold a minute’s silence in his honour to unite at this sad time and remember Juan Carlos.
Tributes to the Honduras international have flooded in across the world from his team mates, players, coaches and supporters alike.
