- Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors join forces to tackle men's weight.
- Sessions to take place every Wednesday for 12 weeks from 25th July.
- Emmerson Boyce and Kris Radlinksi launched the scheme last month.
Males in Wigan with a BMI of 25 or over are encouraged to join the new Lose Weight, Feel Great for MEN campaign at the DW Stadium, an initiative that will see the town’s two major sporting organisations team up to tackle excess body weight and obesity across the borough.
The programme, which is run in partnership with Wigan Council and Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles, was launched at the DW Stadium by Latics legend Emmerson Boyce and former Warriors player Kris Radlinski last month, with sessions set to start from 25th July 2018.
Taking place at the DW Stadium every Wednesday from 6.30pm-8pm for 12 weeks, the free scheme will consist of nutritional advice and circuit training activities led by coaches from Latics and the Warriors.
Latics fans wanting to take part should contact Men’s Health Engagement Officer Andy Miller on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01942 318090.
