Are you overweight and ready to do something about it? Want to win points but lose pounds while playing football? Join Latics’ new Man v Fat programme and you can do just that!
A 16-week scheme which starts on Monday 10th September 2018, Man v Fat aims to provide weight loss motivation, diet tips and weight loss transformations for men who are fighting against fat.
The project is part of the new Lose Weight, Feel Great FOR MEN campaign, and targets men with a BMI of 27.5 or over and will consist of weekly football sessions and expert weight loss advice at Wigan Soccerdome.
An introductory event will take place with coaches from Wigan Athletic Community Trust at the DW Stadium from 6.30pm-8pm on Monday 3rd September 2018, where participants wishing to join the programme will be weighed and provided with nutritional information.
A £10 deposit is required to join Man v Fat, however this money will be given back to the participants who complete the programme upon the entirety of its 16 weeks.
