The returning Callum McManaman provided an assist for Jamie Walker in a pre-season fitness victory over Gibraltar United on Latics' last day in Spain.

Latics saw out their time in La Cala Golf Resort and Spa with a 1-0 victory in a fitness friendly against Gibraltar United on Friday evening, with the returning Callum McManaman on hand to assist Jamie Walker for the match winner.
18 players featured in the game, including James Perch, Ross Wallace and Darron Gibson who all spent time training with the group on the trip, as well as McManaman who appeared as a substitute, just hours after landing in Malaga on his flight from Liverpool to re-join Latics from Sunderland.
McManaman beat three opposition defenders to tee Walker up for the goal, knocking the ball off the right post into the forward's path for the finish.

Latics spent four days training double sessions in Spain in the build-up to the match, before returning home on Saturday to continue Sky Bet Championship preparations back home at the Wigan Athletic Training Centre in Euxton.
Paul Cook's side face Chesterfield FC in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday 25 July, before travelling to Ibrox Stadium on Sunday 29 July to face Steven Gerrard's Rangers FC.
