Alongside meeting the players, the day will give fans behind-the-scenes access to the club and a chance to learn more about the work of its official charity, Wigan Athletic Community Trust.
Youngsters will have the opportunity to improve their skills and techniques by taking part in football sessions with members of the academy’s coaching team, while exciting fun and games for all the family will be on offer across TEN different activity zones, which include a climbing wall, football assault course, face painting, stadium tours, a huge autograph session and more.
Latics boss Cook, said: “We were blown away by the support shown to us at #LaticsOpenDay in 2017 and it was great for the fans to get up close and personal with the players. This year's event led by our brilliant Community Trust will be special.
He added: “There’s a real feel good factor at the club right now and this event will only add to that, so we’re expecting an even bigger turnout this time around and look forward to seeing everyone.”
