PUMA worked with Wigan Athletic between 1995 and 1998, when they designed the now iconic shirt, as worn by the three amigos, Roberto Martinez, Jesus Seba and Isidro Diaz. Aligning with the period in which Dave Whelan bought the club, the kit of that era sits as one of the most popular in our history as it marked the beginning of an incredible journey from near non-existence to the Premier League, winning the FA Cup and European football.
