Useful information for Latics supporters travelling to Bury.

Latics travel to Bury on Saturday 24 March, looking to secure a third straight victory in Sky Bet League One when they visit the Energy Check Stadium for a 3.00pm kick off.

For those who haven't travelled to Bury before or who would like more information on the match day experience, the club's Supporter Liaison Officer has provided the following information.

TICKET DETAILS

Tickets are available from the DW Stadium Ticket Office and by calling 0871 66 33 552* until 4.00pm on Friday 23 March, with a cash on the turnstiles facility in place on match day.

1,500 supporters have snapped up tickets from an allocation of 2,000 tickets for the trip to Gigg Lane, with unreserved seating in the West Stand.

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO DUPLICATE TICKETS PRODUCED FOR LOST, STOLEN OR UNDELIVERED TICKETS SO IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED TICKETS ARE PURCHASED WELL IN ADVANCE – THERE WILL ALSO BE NO COLLECTIONS ON THE DAY AT GIGG LANE.

Tickets priced as follows:

Adults - £20.00
Over 65s/18-22 - £14.00
Under 18s - £10.00
Under 12s - £5
Under 5s – FREE**
Disabled - £14 – carer free of charge where appropriate.

**Under 5 tickets are available in person at the DW Stadium Ticket Office/via phone only. Under 5s must, of course, be accompanied by a full paying adult.

TRAVEL

Postcode for SatNav - BL9 9HP

From the South:  From the M6, take J21A onto the M62, signposted Leeds / Bolton / Manchester.  At J12, exit onto M60 towards Leeds / Bolton Ring Road.  At J17, take the A56 exit to Whitefield / Prestwich.  At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Bury New Road. Continue on the A56 for approximately 3 miles and turn right onto Gigg Lane.

From the North:  From the M6, take J30 onto the M61 signposted Manchester / Bolton / Leeds / Blackburn. Take the exit onto M60 towards M66  towards M66/M62 Ring Road. At J17, take the A56 exit to Whitefield / Prestwich.  At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Bury New Road. Continue on the A56 for approximately 3 miles and turn right onto Gigg Lane.

By Train: Bury Interchange is only a 10 minute walk away, and combines bus services with the tram network.  
 
Supporters travelling by train are advised to depart at either Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Victoria and use the Metrolink (Tram) service to Bury Interchange.

CAR PARKING

The Club does not provide general admission parking in the official car park. Visiting Supporters are advised to use the Phoenix House Car Park, located on Brierley Street opposite the Stadium.  Charged at £5 for cars, this is operated on a first-come, first-served basis.  The postcode for Phoenix House is BL9 9HN. Those parking at Phoenix House are advised that it will close 1 hour after the full-time whistle. Please note that Gigg Lane is a residential street and parking restrictions are in place.  The Club takes no liability for any parking tickets issued if parked incorrectly.

There are a number of Blue Badge parking bays available in the Club’s official car park. Spaces are available to home and away supporters, but these are limited and offered on a first-come first-served basis.  We regret that once the allocated bays have been filled, you will need to find alternative parking arrangements.
 
Supporters parking in the official Club car park are advised that it is closed for 10 minutes after full time to allow supporters on foot to safely exit the Stadium vicinity.

MATCH DAY FACILITIES

Located on the grounds is the Bury FC Social Club. This is open to both home and away fans, with a dedicated non-members section which costs just £1 to gain entry to. Once inside, there is a bar facility, warm food, snacks and the lunch-time kick-off live on the big screen (where scheduling allows).  All this within a stones’ throw of the Stadium!
