Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Jamie Jones has signed a one-year contract extension at the DW Stadium, which will keep him with the club until the end of the 2018-19 season.
Jones, 29, helped Latics on their way to a record-breaking 2017-18 campaign in which he kept eight of Latics’ 27 Sky Bet League One clean sheets before an injury allowed on loan stopper Christian Walton to return to the starting XI and keep his place for the remainder of the season.
A promotion winner with Preston North End in 2014-15, Jones has also featured for Leyton Orient, Coventry City, Rochdale, Colchester United and Stevenage in his career to date.
