Cleaning Operative

The DW Stadium is looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative to assist with providing the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the stadium and surrounding areas whilst adhering to health, safety and hygiene legislation.

The position will encompass the following roles and responsibilities:

Carrying out cleaning tasks including hovering, polishing, ducking toilets, cleaning sinks, mopping and sweeping inside the stadium building on the terracing and external perimeter and picking litter.
Working in accordance with the daily/weekly cleaning schedules using the correct chemicals, equipment and PPE as required.
Attending to spillages and other unforeseen issues.
Completing cleaning check sheets, ensuring standards are met and health and safety requirements are adhered to.

The successful candidate will have the following skills, competencies and qualifications:

Previous experience of cleaning both indoor and outdoor environments.
Experience of using cleaning machinery.
Knowledge of COSHH or willingness to work towards.
NVQ Level 1 in cleaning & support services or willingness to work towards.

The role will require the successful candidate to work an average of 40 hours per week 5 days from 7 on a rota basis which includes evening and weekend shifts.
