Wigan Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of central defender Emeka Obi on a professional contract until June 2020.
The 17-year-old Nigerian-born centre back has impressed in Latics' Academy, having previously featured for Bury as a 15-year-old in the EFL Trophy.
Obi is a tall, physical central defender who is equally as adept with the ball at his feet as he is aerially.
