Wigan Athletic Under 18 striker Charlie Jolley has put pen to paper on his first professional contract, keeping the Liverpool-born forward at the club until June 2021.
Jolley, who scored more than 20 goals in all competitions during his first year as an apprentice last season, has already netted eight times in just seven appearances for the Under 18s this term.

Jolley, who was identified by Head of Academy Recruitment Kenny Williams, is a high-energy forward who scores a variety of goals.
Speaking about Charlie, Head of Academy, Gregor Rioch said:
“Charlie joined the academy as a 13-year-old and has continued to improve each season. He has earned his professional contract by working really hard over his apprenticeship both on and off the field.
"We are developing good strikers at Wigan Athletic and Charlie has an exciting future if he continues to work at his game."
