Latics make two changes to the starting XI to face Reading in the Sky Bet Championship, with Samy Morsy returning from suspension in place of Lee Evans and Kal Naismith in for the injured Antonee Robinson.
Paul Cook has been able to call upon Will Grigg in his 18-man squad on the bench, with the striker back from a hamstring injury which has kept him out since the October international fixtures.
Captain Morsy is back following a one-match ban, whilst Naismith comes in for Robinson after the Everton loanee picked up an ankle injury during international duty with USA.
