Wigan Athletic's seven-goal U18 forward Joe Gelhardt continued his international goal trail on Friday evening when he netted the third in England U17s' 3-1 win against USA.
Gelhardt was an 80th minute substitute with England 2-1 up having come from behind at Chester FC and within seven minutes he added his side's third goal.
Having scored three times in September's Syrenka Cup win, Gelhardt, who made his Latics first team debut in the Carabao Cup against Rotherham United in August, notched his fourth goal in four appearances for England's U17s.
Latics team mate Jensen Weir, the youngest player to ever feature in a first team game for the club, was an unused substitute.
Next up for the duo is a trip to Shrewsbury Town to take on Russia in the second fixture of the mini-tournament. Gelhardt and Weir will also face Brazil at AFC Telford on Tuesday.
