The Everton loanee featured for 76 minutes and was replaced by Ben Sweat shortly after the visitors turned the score line around to 3-2 through Falcao.
James Rodriguez gave Colombia the lead in the first half, before goals from Kellyn Acosta and Bobby Wood has USA 2-1 up. Carlos Bacca equalised, Falcao made it 3-2 and substitute Miguel Borja extended the lead to 4-2 to seal the win.
Next up for Dave Sarachan's side is a second clash with South American opposition when they face Peru on Tuesday.
