Speaking on the latest episode of Latics Listen, our official podcast, captain Samy Morsy says Latics have to look at the next three fixtures as an opportunity.
Listen to or read from Samy below.
"This week brings us a great opportunity with three tough fixtures, it's exactly what we want to be a part of.
"Preston was a freak game, so it's back to basics, a good performance and hopefully a win for us against West Brom.
"On the plane back from Africa I was reading (Mauricio) Pochettino's book and he was talking about a few years ago when Everton beat Manchester City 4-0, it shows that it can happen to the best. You put defeats behind you quickly because there is no time to dwell. You're angry for a couple of days, but after that it's done and you have to set back up.
"West Brom are scoring goals from all angles and they're strong at the back, which is to be expected when you look at their squad.
"It's a good game for us because our home form has been brilliant this season. They're one of the best teams in the division and if we want to be a good team then these are the tests you've got to come up against.
"We're a different animal at home for whatever reason, if our away form was as good as our home form we'd be top of the league.
"For us it's about maintaining the moment we've built at home and having a good go at West Brom."
