LOAN REPORT: FOUR WIGAN ATHLETIC LOANEES FEATURE OVER THE WEEKEND

Four Wigan Athletic players featured for their loan clubs over the weekend - find out how they got on below.

Devante Cole

Striker Devante Cole made his Burton Albion debut in a 3-0 win for the Brewers against AFC Wimbledon.

Cole replaced David Templeton after 73 minutes for Nigel Clough's side and will now look to add further match minutes on Tuesday night when the Brewers host Walsall in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Joe Piggott

Young development squad striker Joe Piggott enjoyed a special afternoon as he made his EFL debut for Morecambe.

The 19-yaear-old was a 69th minute substitute for Jim Bentley's side, who lost 3-2 at Bury.

Luke Burgess

Luke Burgess made his sixth appearance for Barrow in a 2-1 defeat to Solihull Moors, though he did collect the Man of the Match award on only his second start.

Burgess has extended his loan with the National League club until January and will look to feature further in the coming weeks.

Callum Lang

Callum Lang featured from the bench for Oldham Athletic for the third time this season as they beat Crawley Town 2-1.

Improving of late, Oldham are currently sixth in Sky Bet League Two.

Jamie Walker and Jordan Flores

First team duo Jamie Walker and Jordan Flores didn't feature for their loan clubs this weekend.

Walker was ineligible for Peterborough United's clash with Doncaster Rovers after his loan move missed the registration deadline for Saturday's game, however he will be available to feature on Tuesday night when Posh travel to MK Dons in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Flores is back in the UK recieving treatment on a knee injury sustained in traning with Ostersunds FK.
