GLOBE ARENA
CENTRAL LEAGUE

Latics head to Morecambe FC on the final day of the Central League season, with the Development Squad in top spot by one point following their 9-0 thrashing of Rotherham United at Christopher Park last Tuesday.

The victory sees Latics on 27 points, with the Millers second on 26 points ahead of their home match against Doncaster Rovers.

Latics head to the Globe Arena with 43 goals to their name in just 13 matches, three of which came against sixth place Morecambe in a 3-1 win at Christopher Park back in January.

The Shrimps have 17 points from their 12 fixtures so far, with a victory capable of seeing them rise as high as third.

Morecambe are unbeaten in their previous four outings, which include a 1-1 draw away at Doncaster, a 2-1 win at home to Grimsby Town, a 1-1 draw with Notts County at home and a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Doncaster at the Globe.

Latics arrive at the Globe unbeaten in their last nine matches, with eight victories, one draw and 33 goals scored in the process.
