THIS WEEK AT WIGAN ATHLETIC - W/C 8 APRIL

Everything coming up at Latics this week as we take on Hull City and Norwich City, with the Under 18s aiming to claim the EFL Youth Alliance title!

  • This Week - Latics travel to Hull City and host Norwich City.
  • Under 18s go completely free with all other tickets £15 for Sunday's home game against the league leaders Norwich.
  • Our Under 18s host Bury FC on Tuesday knowing a victory will seal their first piece of silverware this season.

Monday 8 April

After a crucial point gained on Saturday in the 2-2 draw at Bristol City, we're preparing for our second consecutive away game as Paul Cook and his squad get set for a trip to Hull City on Wednesday evening.

Tickets for the match can still be purchased from the DW Stadium Ticket Office until 5.00pm on Tuesday, either by visiting in person or by calling 01942 311111 - tickets can also be arranged for collection from the KCOM Stadium.

A pay on the day facility is also available at the KCOM Stadium from the Pitch Side Bar from 6.00pm situated near turnstiles 1-5.

It's also a big week in terms of build-up towards our next home match, with Sky Bet Championship leaders Norwich City the next visitors to the DW Stadium on Sunday 14 April.

Tickets for Under 18s are completely free of charge, whilst all other tickets are just £15 for the 12.00pm kick off. U18 tickets must be arranged via the DW Stadium Ticket Office, either in person or by calling 01942 311111, with all other tickets available online.

Current and former Armed Forces personnel can also redeem free tickets by contacting Hayley Bulpitt by emailing h.bulpitt@wiganathletic.com or calling 01942 318090 stating your name, address, phone number, email address and service number.

Tuesday 9 April

We begin the day up at the Wigan Athletic Training Centre to catch the gaffer's thoughts ahead of Tuesday's trip to Hull City!

It's a big day for our Under 18s as they host Bury FC at Christopher Park for an 11.00am kick off, knowing a victory against the young Shakers would seal the EFL Youth Alliance title with four games remaining.

Latics currently lead the division by 11 points over second place Rochdale after an impressive 6-2 victory against Blackpool last time out on Saturday.

Elsewhere, the Development Squad travel to Fleetwood Town for a 1.30pm kick off in a friendly.

Wednesday 10 April

It's match day! We travel to Hull City for a 7.45pm kick off as we enter the final six games of the Sky Bet Championship campaign!

A pay on the day facility is available at the KCOM Stadium from the Pitch Side Bar from 6.00pm situated near turnstiles 1-5.

We'll be back at the training centre for more build-up to Sunday's clash with Norwich, getting the views from the gaffer and the latest fitness report with our early team news.

It's also our leading scorer Joe Garner's birthday, as well as former Latics men Phil Daley, Tony Dinning, Neil Whitworth, Gary Caldwell and Grant Holt.

With no match until Sunday, our attention turns to the Under 18s and our players out on loan.

Latics host Preston North End at 11.00am at Christopher Park in the EFL Youth Alliance, whilst our loanees are set for action in the following fixtures:
