Goals included in the shortlist are:

Goal A - Reece James v Bristol City - Saturday 6 April

A typical show of strength from Reece James saw the midfielder turn with Samy Morsy's pass and shrug off a challenge in the centre circle before driving up the pitch to smash home a right footed effort from distance.

Goal B - Gavin Massey v Leeds United - Friday 19 April

With Latics down to 10 men and in the relegation zone due to results elsewhere, Kal Naismith plucked the ball out of the air and found Lee Evans who slipped Gavin Massey in on goal on the right hand side, allowing the forward to blast home his first of two goals to turn the contest around at Elland Road.

Goal C - MacKenzie O'Neill v Bury FC - Tuesday 9 April

Latics' U18s won possession high up the pitch and with the game's opening goal and his first of two to seal the EFL Youth Alliance title, MacKenzie O'Neill darted inside from the left, sold two defenders a dummy and popped the ball past the Bury goalkeeper.

Goal D - Ryan Galvin v Fleetwood Town - Tuesday 16 April

The best solo goal you'll see all season. Full back Ryan Galvin took a throw in deep inside his own half, before running the length of the pitch to score in Latics' Clarets Cup final victory against Fleetwood Town.

Goal E - Charlie Jolley v Rotherham United - Tuesday 16 April

With his second goal of a hat-trick on the afternoon, Charlie Jolley finished off a wonderful team move involving Luke Burgess, Joe Gelhardt and Olly Crankshaw.

Goal F - Olly Crankshaw v Rotherham United - Tuesday 16 April

A former Goal of the Month winner, Olly Crankshaw is nominated again, this time as part of another fine team goal in Latics' 9-0 thrashing of Rotherham United in the Central League.

This season’s monthly awards are brought to you by Kingdom Services.

The online vote closes on Friday 3 May.
