Wigan Athletic’s late equaliser at Bristol City earlier this month has been credited to Nathan Byrne, rather than Anthony Pilkington.
Byrne had previously played 90 games for Latics without scoring and the EFL’s Dubious Goals Committee ruled the strike at Ashton Gate should be credited to him after some media reports credited Pilkington and others the former Wolves man.
