Striker James Vaughan claimed a debut assist for Portsmouth against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, arriving from the bench to tee up former Latics forward Omar Bogle in the 54th minute. The Pompey equaliser earned them a 1-1 draw against Doncaster, meaning Kenny Jackett's side are third in Sky Bet League One on 58 points, one point behind second place Barnsley and seven points behind leaders Luton Town.
LEO DA SILVA LOPES
After completing a loan move to the Priestfield Stadium on transfer deadline day, Leo Da Silva Lopes made his Gillingham debut in a 1-1 draw away at Coventry City, coming on as a 71st minute substitute.
Tom Eaves' 92nd minute penalty grabbed the Gills a point, meaning they sit 19th in League One on 33 points, one point above the relegation zone.
The Nash are on a hot streak as of late! Olly Crankshaw and his Curzon Ashton team mares are unbeaten in six, with five victories, the latest of which came on the road at Hereford FC on Saturday, a 2-1 triumph.
