Breaking team news from the New York Stadium as Latics take on Rotherham United in the Sky Bet Championship.

  • Latics make two changes from the 2-1 win against QPR at the DW Stadium.
  • Beni Baningime and Chey Dunkley come in for Lee Evans and Cedric Kipre.

Latics make two changes for the Sky Bet Championship trip to Rotherham United, with Chey Dunkley replacing Cedric Kipre to start alongside captain Danny Fox in defence, whilst Everton loanee Beni Baningime comes in for his debut in place of Lee Evans who misses out due to illness.

Nick Powell was set to be in the squad, but had to leave Rotherham to return home to be with his family for the birth of his second child. Gary Roberts takes Powell's place on the bench.

Jonas Olsson comes into the squad on the bench for his first involvement since signing for the club earlier this month, whilst Gavin Massey makes his return from a hamstring injury to make the subs.

Samy Morsy is serving the second game of his suspension after picking up his 10th yellow card of the season against Nottingham Forest.
