Breaking team news from the DW Stadium as Latics host Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship.

  • Danny Fox comes in as captain on his debut and Leon Clarke makes his 'second debut' at the DW Stadium.

Latics make four changes for the visit of Queens Park Rangers at the DW Stadium, with Danny Fox straight in for his debut as captain, whilst Leon Clarke makes his 'second debut' following his return to the club on loan from Sheffield United. Lee Evans returns in midfield and Anthony Pilkington is fit again following a brief spell on the sidelines.

Samy Morsy misses out due to suspension, Darron Gibson and Chey Dunkley take up places on the bench, whilst Clarke takes James Vaughan's place following the striker's loan move to Portsmouth.

New signing Beni Baningime makes the bench following his arrival on loan from Everton, but Jonas Olsson misses out on the squad after joining the club yesterday.

Antonee Robinson and Gavin Massey returned to training this week and are likely to come back into contention for next week's trip to Rotherham United.
