30-year-old forward joins after spell with Premier League Cardiff City, signing an 18-month contract at the DW Stadium.

Wigan Athletic are pleased to confirm the signing of forward Anthony Pilkington on an 18-month contract, subject to international clearance.
Pilkington, 30, has agreed to leave Cardiff City after four-and-a-half years in South Wales, in which time he made 111 appearances in all competitions, scoring 23 goals.
The Republic of Ireland international forward moved to Cardiff from Norwich City, having previously had spells with Huddersfield Town and Stockport County and brings with him experience of over 400 career games for club and country.
Speaking about the acquisition of Pilkington, Paul Cook said:
“Anthony has good experience in the Championship and Premier League, I am delighted to bring him to Wigan Athletic.
“He won promotion with Cardiff City last season so he knows what it takes to do well at this level and I am sure he will be a big asset to us for the rest of this campaign and beyond.”
