THIS WEEK AT WIGAN ATHLETIC - W/C 25 MARCH

Here's what's coming up at Latics as we prepare for Brentford FC in the Sky Bet Championship.

  • This Week - Latics v Brentford FC at the DW Stadium on Saturday 30 March.
  • Latics travel to Doncaster Rovers in the Central League and host Morecambe FC in the EFL Youth Alliance.
  • Our international stars play out their final fixtures in Denmark, Netherlands and Portugal.

Monday 25 March

We're back into a fixture build-up week after a weekend away from domestic action due to the international matches, with preparations getting into full swing for Latics' return to the Sky Bet Championship against Brentford FC at the DW Stadium on Saturday 30 March!

Tuesday 26 March

It's match day for the Development Squad! Nick Chadwick's side travel to Doncaster Rovers aiming to put pressure on fellow Central League title-chasers Rotherham United and Port Vale! Kick off is at 12.00pm at Cantley Park, DN4 6HE. (The kick off time has been changed from the originally scheduled 1.00pm)

Away from the club and in warmer climes, Reece James and England's Under 20s travel to take on Portugal, whilst MacKenzie O'Neill and Northern Ireland continue their UEFA U17 European Championship Elite Round qualifiers against Israel.

Wednesday 27 March

Our Young Lions, Jensen Weir and Joe Gelhardt are set to feature in their final UEFA U17 European Championship Elite Round qualifying match against hosts Denmark. With a victory in the opening game and a 0-0 draw against Croatia on Sunday, England will be confident of progression to the tournament finals in Ireland in May 2019.

Thursday 28 March

After a week away for the international break, our podcast, Latics Listen, returns for its 31st episode of the season, bringing you the latest from inside the Wigan Athletic Training Centre, build-up to Saturday clash with Brentford and a blast from the past with another former Latics star in the Latics Rewind hot seat.

Friday 29 March

With Brentford just around the corner, Latics boss Paul Cook will sit down with the media ahead of his side's clash with Thomas Frank's Bees!

We'll also get our weekly fitness update from the training centre and continue to build-up to the big game with exclusive interviews, classic action, statistics and trivia.

Saturday 30 March

It's match day! After winning 5-2 at home last time out against Bolton Wanderers, Latics aim to build on the victory against Brentford FC!

Tickets are available throughout the week online, by calling 01942 311111 or by visiting the DW Stadium Ticket Office, with cash turnstiles in operation on the day via the East and South Stands.

Our Under 18s are also in action on Saturday when they host Morecambe FC at Christopher Park, kick off 11.00am.
