Your weekly guide to Latics!

  • This Week: Latics travel to Derby County and Reading in the Sky Bet Championship.
  • Latics' Development Squad host Port Vale in the Central League on Tuesday.
  • The Under 18s head to Bury for the area final of the EFL Youth Alliance Cup.

Monday 4 March

Another big week at Wigan Athletic begins, with all three of our teams in action in crucial matches.

The Development Squad are first up on Tuesday afternoon against Port Vale ahead of Latics' first team trip to Derby County, with the Under 18s taking on Bury FC on Saturday morning ahead of Latics' second away game of the week, a clash with Reading in the Sky Bet Championship.

Derby County v Wigan Athletic Ticket Details

Tickets for our trip to Derby County on Tuesday evening are on sale until 5.00pm on Monday, with supporters able to purchase tickets from the DW Stadium Ticket Office by calling 01942 311111 or by visiting in person. Tickets can be arranged for collection at Pride Park on the night of the game when purchasing in advance.

A pay on the day option is also available at Pride Park on the night, with tickets available from the Away Ticket Cabin from 6.00pm.

Cash and card payments will be accepted, with ticket prices as follows:

Adults - £29.00
Over 65s - £22.00
Under 18s - £17.50
Under 13s - £10.50

The winners of our February Currys PC World Wigan Player of the Month and Kingdom Latics Goal of the Month will be announced throughout the day!

Former Latics players David Felgate (59) and Jake Buxton (34) celebrate their birthdays, as does current Development Squad midfielder Alex Perry who turns 21.

Olly Crankshaw is set for National League North action when his Curzon Ashton side take on Guiseley at 7.45pm.

Tuesday 5 March

It's match day! Latics travel to Derby County in the Sky Bet Championship!

A pay on the day option is also available at Pride Park on the night, with tickets available from the Away Ticket Cabin from 6.00pm.

Cash and card payments will be accepted, with ticket prices as follows:

Adults - £29.00
Over 65s - £22.00
Under 18s - £17.50
Under 13s - £10.50

But first up, the Development Squad host Port Vale in the Central League at Christopher Park with a 1.00pm kick off.

Tickets for our Sky Bet Championship visit to Reading on Saturday 9 March remain on sale online until 4.00pm on Tuesday, with tickets then available by phone and in person only until 3.00pm on Friday.

Details of any pay on the day option will be available on wiganathletic.com and across our social media channels as soon as we are given notice from Reading.

Back to the first team match and we'll have team news ahead of Derby from 6.45pm, with build-up on iFollow Latics ahead of the live match stream, available through the service with a £10 match pass.

It's the final day of pre-match preparations for the lads up at Exuton and we'll have all of the latest news from the manager ahead of Saturday's trip to Reading, with Paul Cook's views on the game ahead, as well as his weekly team news update.

Tickets for our clash with the Royals at the Madejski Stadium remain on sale until 3.00pm when purchasing in advance from the DW Stadium Ticket Office or by calling 01942 311111. Tickets can be arranged for collection on the day of the game when purchasing in advance.

Saturday 9 March

It's match day and we're heading to Reading! Latics take on the Royals in the Sky Bet Championship at 3.00pm!

First up the Under 18s are in the area final of the EFL Youth Alliance Cup away at Bury at 11.00am, with a place in the national final against Exeter City up for grabs.

Latics' players out on loan are set for action in the following fixtures:
