A 65th minute substitute in England's final group stage match of the 2019 UEFA U17 European Championship in Ireland, forward Joe Gelhardt scored his country's third goal in a 3-1 victory against Sweden.
It wasn't enough to see England qualify for the next round after Steve Cooper's side finished third on four points.
Midfielder Jensen Weir started the match and featured for 71 minutes against Sweden, having played the full 90 minutes of England opening game, a 1-1 draw against France in which Gelhardt came on in the 88th minute, and 81 minutes in a 5-2 defeat to Netherlands, in which Gelhardt played the full 90.
The duo, who have formed key roles in England's setup, made their Latics league debuts together in the club's penultimate game of the season as substitutes in a 1-1 draw away at Birmingham City.
