- Reece James and Gavin Massey finished second and third respectively.
Mr Versatility, Kal Naismith, has won the club's Player of the Month award, sponsored by Currys PC World Wigan, scooping the April vote with 34%.
In a month of standout performances, the 27-year-old featured four times, including a dangerous display against league leaders Norwich City and a heroic performance as a makeshift centre half in Latics' 2-1 Good Friday victory against Leeds United at Elland Road, shortly after being involved in the build-up to Gavin Massey's equaliser.
Naismith returned to a more usual wide role for the 2-0 win against Preston North End at the DW Stadium on Easter Monday, laying on the opening goal for Leon Clarke as Latics secured their spot in the Sky Bet Championship for 2019-20.
The Scotsman beat off competition from Reece James (33%) and Gavin Massey (22%) respectively.
